Non-Invasive AC Current Sensor - 30A

WARNING: Always make sure to ground one of the current transformer (CT) output wires when it’s under load.   If the CT is around a wire with current flowing through it, and the secondary side of the CT is not grounded, huge voltages can get induced inside the CT and it can damage te CT and possibly explode.

Use 1N4148 diodes for the above circuit

Use use 4 resistors of 100k in place of the 2x 220k resistors; rated properly; 230Vac (rms) = 310Vpk = 620Vp-p
